History

MECAVIT was founded in 1980 by two craftsmen with entrepreneurial spirit and experience in the mechanical field. After just one generation Mecavit stood already out as a market leader with its VMC marked carbon steel and stainless steel screws.

ME CA Viteria Italiana, the old name of the company, was changed in 1999 to Mecavit Srl.
The VMC symbol, that marks our products, stands for "Viteria Me Ca".

After more than 30 years activity the situation is that of a modern and technologically organized and controlled enterprise, which is able to professionally meet any technical and commercial requirements linked to the autonomous manufacturing of standard or special screws for any highly industrialized fields.
