MECAVIT supports the world MX2 motocross championship

For some years Mecavit has been sponsoring the competitions of the pilot Ivo Monticelli, who will take part to the World Championship MX2 2014, being engaged by the KTM team.

The team manager Elio Marchetti of the KTM team stated:

“I am particularly satisfied with this agreement as Ivo is our first target for the MX2. He is young and we think he is talented and able to do well already from next season. He is an Italian, who will be able to become a champion in his category: we believe in him and we will make our best with the support of KTM. These days we are talking to other pilots to complete the final composition of the team for next season”

Ivo Monticelli was born on the 16th August 1994 and he started his career when he was only 7. At the age of 14 he gained his first European prize in the Supercross Junior and encored the following year (2009). This year Ivo Monticelli has ranked 24th in the World championship MX2.
