MECAVIT, an EcoIndustry 4.0

In a globalised socio-economic context, objectives aiming towards productivity and sustainability must be part of the same project. It is a question of ethics that must now involve everyone, to give a better future to our children. At MECAVIT, productivity and sustainability have always been addressed together. For example, the company has long been piping the heat generated by its heat treatments line back into its central heating system.

An important photovoltaic system

But the most important project was launched in 2023. An extensive photovoltaic system covering the entire production facility and offices. The technical solution we have adopted, which took into account all current regulations, allows us to generate an energy output calculated at approximately 742,00 kWh/year, with an estimated 723,000 tonnes of CO₂ not released into the atmosphere.**.**
